This directory contains utility functions for interacting with the
lab's mysql database. Currently, the project is under development and
the scripts are subject to some change.  Specifically, a new protocol
is being implemented in which a connection to the database is only
established once.  All functions that then query the database should
use the connection ID that is returned when the connection is established.
